How to Make MMP work for Us
MMP gives you two Votes.
One for the Party, and one for your Electorate.
Our region historically votes for labour as the party vote. In this election the labour candidate is high enough on the party list that voting for them in the electorate vote changes nothing, they will get into government even if no one votes for them in the electorate.
Under MMP voting for them as your electorate MP in fact is a waste of your vote. At the very worst voting for me will give you two people in government fighting for Waitakere.
The other candidates are trying to convince you to vote for their party and voting for them as individuals is a waste of the vote. Even if you did vote them in as individuals they won't be able to influence anything for our region.
So we all know know the definition of insanity: so if doing the same doesn't change anything... then its time to do something different

Service 1
Health Care
Invest in upgrading Waitakere Hospital to a full service hospital. Ensuring our people get the health care service they deserve and stop having to travel for hours from the likes of Piha to the Northshore
Service 3
Tourism
Invest in Making the Hillary trail viable for public access again. Building boardwalk protections for the Kauris, creating tree top pathways, utilizing the tunnels, looping the trail back to the Arataki visitor centre. Creating a world class attraction for the region.
Service 4
Law and Order
Invest in community constables to operate out of every main township in our community. Increase the presence and engagement with police to support the safety of our people
Service 2
Energy
Invest in a Waste to energy plant utilizing proven green technologies. Utilizing this plant to generate electricity for the region that is distributed back to our community at cost. Reducing every households expenses in the region
Service 4
Education
Invest in additional teachers, create a 1:16 student to teacher ratio in our primary and intermediate schools so that our kids get access to world class best practice engagement with teachers.

Facilities
Build a modern multisport facility within our region that creates a hub for our community That finally gives our community a genuine facility that actually meets our needs rather than a make do

That’s why I always stay open—whether you want to share your experience, have a kōrero, or ask tough questions, I’m here for it. I will respond honestly about what I think, no filter, just me.
I am born and bred from our region so our priorities and needs are part of who I am, I know them from a lived experience, not just campaign notes supplied by others.
